The goal isn’t to build

User experience (UX) refers to any interaction a user has with a product or service. UX design considers each and every element that shapes this experience, how it makes the user feel, and how easy it is for the user to accomplish their desired tasks. UI design is the look and feel, the presentation and the interactivity of a product.
Web development is the work involved in developing a website for the Internet or an intranet (private network). Web development can range from developing a simple single static page of plain text to complex web applications, electronic businesses, and social network services.
Website maintenance is the act of regularly checking your website for issues and mistakes and keeping it updated and relevant. This should be done on a consistent basis in order to keep your website healthy, encourage continued traffic growth, and strengthen your SEO and Google rankings.
Search engine optimization is the process of optimizing web pages and their content to be easily discoverable by users searching for terms relevant to your website. The term SEO also describes the process of making web pages easier for search engine indexing software to find, scan, and index your site.
Design & Development Procedure
1. Information Gathering
This first step is actually the most important one, as it involves a solid understanding of the company it is created for. It involves a good understanding of you – what your business goals and dreams are, and how the web can be utilized to help you achieve those goals.
Using the information gathered, it is now time to put together a plan for your website. This is the point where a site map is developed. A site map is a list of all main topic areas of the site, as well as sub-topics, if applicable. During the planning phase, you will also be assisted in deciding which technologies should be implemented
3. UX/UI Design
This is the point where the look and feel of your website is determined. The target audience is one of the key factors taken into consideration. As part of the design phase, it is also important to incorporate elements such as the company logo or colors to help strengthen the identity of your company on the website.
This is the point where the actual, functional website is created. This involves a lot of coding, testing, and troubleshooting. During this phase, the in-progress site will be available for viewing so the client is able to make recommendations based on what they like and/or dislike, and can also help to catch any potential errors that may have been missed.
5. Testing & Delivery/Launch
At this point, the final details of the website will be attended and it will undergo a series of tests such as checking the complete functionality of forms and other scripts, as well as ensuring that the website is optimized to be viewed properly in the most recent browser versions. Once the client has given final approval, it is time to deliver the website.
The development of the website is not necessarily over, though. One way to bring repeat visitors to a website is to offer new content or products on a regular basis. Other maintenance type items include regular site backups, upgrades, additional plugin installation, etc.
